Skillsome pitched at the Startup World Cup
The Crossroads by StartUp Bulgaria event is part of the Startup Pitching World Cup.
It brought together some of the most active voices in the local and international startup ecosystem – founders, investors, accelerators, advisors, and innovators.
Representing Skillsome, CMO Teodora Ivanova delivered a concise four-minute pitch introducing the company’s mission, product, and development plan. The presentation highlighted how Skillsome addresses one of the most pressing challenges in modern education – the gap between what schools teach and what real life requires.
The Message
Skillsome is designed to support children in developing core life skills – the ones increasingly essential in today’s world – emotional intelligence, social skills, digital literacy, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial mindset.
The platform guides parents and educators in supporting children’s growth beyond academic subjects, offering structured, expert-backed content and a digital environment that promotes learning for real-world readiness.
In front of a diverse audience of investors, mentors, and fellow founders, the Skillsome co-founder presented how the platform aligns with global trends in EdTech, future or work, and social-emotional learning, while maintaining accessibility and inclusivity as key principles.
A Growing Presence in the Ecosystem
Taking part in Crossroads by StartUp Bulgaria was a valuable step for us as we continue to grow our presence within the European startup and education communities.
The next phase for us focuses on strengthening partnerships, and finalizing product development ahead of launch.
As the company continues to grow, we remain committed to one goal – helping children develop the skills that prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow, and supporting parents and educators on the journey.
